If we purchase the dining plan, do I need to include my 2 year old too or is he free to get meals?

    Hi Emma,

You don't need to purchase the dining plan for your 2 year old.  He is welcome to share off of your plate.  I recommend dining at restaurants that serve family style meals or have a buffet. Your little one can have his own dish and eat at no extra cost.  The majority of character meals fit into this category.

If you dine at a restaurant where each guest orders a separate meal from the menu, your 2 year old can share your meal with you.  If you wish to order a meal off of the child's menu for him, you'll be charged for that meal.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
