If you purchase a dining plan does it have to be for ALL the days you are staying at Disney? I just want to do for 3 of the days out of the 5

    Hi Christina!

I’m so happy to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and you are considering using one of the Disney dining plans! One of my favorite parts about a trip to visit Mickey is the fantastic food that we will enjoy during our trip and the dining plans allow us to have incredible dining experiences without having to worry about the cost of each individual meal. I love to visit Character Dining and Signature restaurants when we have the dining plan to make the most of our dining entitlements!

When you add a dining plan to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, it is attached to your Disney Resort hotel reservation. You will receive one set of dining entitlements, based on the dining plan you choose, per night of your reservation per person of your reservation who is 3 years old and over. Unfortunately, there is no way to add the dining plan for only a portion of your trip.

So if you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort for five days and four nights, you will receive four sets of dining entitlements for each person 3 years old and over on your reservation. Keep in mind that you can use your entitlements flexibly throughout your vacation, meaning that you don’t have to spend one set of entitlements each day of your trip and you can make your dining plan work for your itinerary!

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue making your vacation plans. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
