Do you have to purchase a dining plan? Just curious if that was an option and if so what are the prices?

    Hi Leilani!

The great thing about planning a vacation to Walt Disney World is the variety of options available to customize your vacation to your specific needs and budget.Disney's Dining Plan is optional and there are actually a few different options based on what type of dining your would like try during your stay.A few things to keep in mind is that everyone staying in the same resort room must be on the same dining plan.

Disney's Quick-Service Dining Plan includes 2 quick-service meal credits and 1 snack credit per a person for every night of your stay. The price for 2014 is $39.64 for ages 10+per a night and $15.75 per a child ages 3-9 per a night.

Disney's Standard Dining Plan includes 1 quick-service meal, 1 table-service meal and 1 snack credit per a person for every night of your trip. This is the most popular plan and includes the best of both worlds offering a nice sit down meal, plus the option of quicker meals when you're in a hurry. The price for 2014 is $58.66 for ages 10+ per a night and $18.88 for children ages 3-9.

Disney's Platinum Dining Plan includes 3 meals per a day (can be quick-service or table-service) and 2 snack credits per a person for every night of your stay. This plan is great if you plan on participating in a lot of sit down meals or Disney's Signature Restaurants that require 2 table-service credits. The cost for 2014 is $104.94 for ages 10+ per a night and $29.51 for ages 3-9 per a night of your stay.

*All of Disney's Dining Plan include a refillable resort mug that can be used at all Walt Disney World owned resorts throughout your stay.*

I hope this helps, Leilani and please let me know if you have anymore questions or need advice for your upcoming vacation!

    Happy Planning!
