Can we still purchase a dining plan?

    Greetings, Nicole!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with a very popular question.

I am so excited to see that you will be joining the World’s Most Magical Celebration this summer. So many new experiences are created just for the celebration, you must see Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. There are 50 golden sculptures of everyone’s favorite and most loved Disney Characters on display in all 4 theme parks.

Dining plans are extremely popular with a lot of Guests. It allows them the flexibility and often savings they are looking for to accommodate their dining needs. Since the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, some experiences are still temporarily not available. This includes the Disney Dining Plans. While we expect them to return at some point in this year, we are not exactly sure when that will be. I suggest that you keep your EARs tuned in to the Disney Parks Blog and other social media channels for that all-important announcement.

If you are looking to save money or budget your dining preferences, you can view the menus of all table service dining locations in My Disney Experience online or in the mobile app with current pricing, which is subject to change. I use Disney Gift Cards at table service restaurants to cover what I have already planned. This way, my meals are already paid for, based on my budget. Disney Gift cards are accepted at table service locations in theme parks and resorts and several locations at Disney Springs. I always ask the Cast Member when I check in for my reservation to confirm.

I do have some good news for you! If dining plans return before you arrive, you can always modify your reservation to have one included in your package by calling Walt Disney Reservations at (407) 939-5277 to modify an existing reservation.

Friendly reminder: all Guests visiting a Disney Theme Park are required to have a valid admission ticket and a Disney Park Pass Reservation, for each day they plan to visit a park. If you have not made your park pass reservations, I highly recommend that you do so immediately. All parks are operating on limited capacity and can get booked up the closer you get to your arrival date. I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
