I want to purchase the Dining Package for Candlelight Processional. What time on Oct. 6 do the tickets go on sale? Do we purchase online or call? TIA!

Hey Howdy Hey Jeanie and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the big kick-off in EPCOT to celebrate the Holiday season! There will be so many things happening in EPCOT for the International Festival of the Holidays and the Candlelight Processional is one of the biggest! Thank you for your question to get a jump on making your reservations. I would be happy to share my knowledge of this process with you.

Candle Light Processional Dining Packages work a little bit differently than regular dining reservations. These special events, usually are categorized under Disney Enchanting Extras Collection which is a little less specific on timing. Reservations for these items usually start on a certain day but can open up after midnight through some point usually mid-morning. So if you are a night owl, you might want to check the Disney site at 12:01 AM EST on October 6th for reservation openings but this can be as late as mid-morning on that day as well. Regular dining reservations open up at 6:00 AM EST which may also be a good time to get up and check on these reservations as well.

When making reservations such as dining packages or any offerings from the Disney Enchanting Extras collection, these reservations are best made online. Phone lines usually do not open up until 7:00 AM EST and can get really busy soon after. So save time and book online! When you book these reservations online, they also almost instantaneously connect to your My Disney Experience account and should see this pop up on your "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section.

As we continue to move closer to the Merriest time of the year, make sure to keep up with Disney Parks Blog for all the latest. There are usually so many unique experiences in EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs and so many resorts to get you in the spirit of the holidays. I am sure you will find more information in the days to come over on the blog!

Best of luck getting your reservations for the Candle Light Processional and getting the Holiday season kicked off! If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Happy Planning,

    Nick
