We would like to purchase the DDP but have a 2 year old son. Is his food free with our meal? Can we purchase a plan for him? He's a big eater and won't be satisfied sharing with us!

The Disney dining plan is not available for children under the age of three.  In some cases, though, your son's meals will be complimentary.  Specifically, at buffet restaurants as well as those that serve family-style, your son will be permitted to eat to his heart's (or belly's as the case may be) content.  Restaurants that serve a la carte meals (where you order off of a menu) will not offer complimentary meals for a two-year-old.  At those locations you are welcome to share your meal with your son.  If that isn't enough to satisfy him, though, you can order a meal for him, but do be aware that you will be required to pay for it.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
