Hiya Angel - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your first question for our team of panelists. We absolutely love helping Guests just like you plan your very own magical
Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
I'm an Annual Passholder, but if I were buying
Standard Theme Park Tickets, I would always be sure to add either the Water Park and Sports Option or the Park Hopper Plus Option to my tickets!
Currently, if you were to purchase a 3-day ticket with either of these add-ons, you would have a total of six days to use up all of the visits your ticket provides. The great news is that the "3-day" part of your ticket only applies to
the four magical Theme Parks. So, that means that you can visit one Theme Park on each of any three days during your ticket's valid use window, as long as you make a valid Park Pass Reservation for each day. If you've opted for the Park Hopper Plus Option, you can
also visit any other available Theme Park after 2 p.m. on those park days.
With your 3-day ticket, the Water Park and Sports or Park Hopper Plus Options will also include three additional visits to a
Water Park or other available recreation activity, such as miniature golf. These additional visits do
not count as park days, and are actually not counted by days at all. So, let's say you'll be at Walt Disney World Resort for a total of four days. If you visit
Magic Kingdom Park on your first morning, visit
Typhoon Lagoon that afternoon, and play a round at
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf, all on the same day, you'll have used one of your three park days and two of your three visits to other experiences. You would then have two remaining park days, and one remaining visit to a Water Park or other recreation experience to use during the remaining three days of your visit!
Long story short, this is truly a great way to extend your vacation while saving a bit by not purchasing as many park days! I hope this information is helpful to you, Angel -
please let me know if I can help answer any other questions.
