if I purchase 2 day tickets from disney will they be the plastic souvenir tickets or the paper ones?

Hi, Sean! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are ready for two days of fun and magic at the Disneyland Resort!

There are a few ways to obtain tickets, but from my experience, the the plastic souvenir tickets are usually only given when you book a vacation package including a hotel room. For instance, I once booked a Disneyland Resort vacation package through Costco and we received plastic tickets along with luggage tags and other fun goodies before our visit. If you purchase your two-day ticket at a ticket booth, you will receive a paper ticket or if you purchase online, you will receive a voucher that you will exchange for a paper ticket at the gate.

Paper tickets are about the size of a credit card, so I like to keep them safe in my wallet or another zipped bag. They can easily fall out of pockets or get wet on some attractions, so it's important they are kept in a secure location. I also take a picture of the back of the ticket. Just in case my ticket gets lost or damaged while I'm at the parks, the picture will help a Cast Member replace my ticket.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a fabulous time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
