If I purchase 2 Day tickets in advance from Disney or AAA, when may I begin making my FastPass+ selections for my visit? Do I have to activate the tickets at the park first or may I use the "My Disney Experience" app and book my times in advance?

Hello Angela and thank you for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm excited to know you're planning a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort sometime in the near future and to help get you started making those all important FastPass+ selections via My Disney Experience I'm happy to share that all Guests must 1st have a valid Disney Theme Park Ticket linked up to their My Disney Experience account.
All Guests staying in Walt Disney World owned and run Resorts may make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance of their visit and Guests who are staying outside of Disney property or simply visiting for the day can begin making FastPass+ selections up to 30 days ahead of time.
If I can sprinkle any extra pixie dusted advice onto your plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
