How do I purchase only day tickets?

    Hello friend,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about purchasing tickets for your upcoming visit.

Walt Disney World offers ticket options that can be customized so many ways to meet your exact needs. All those options, though, can be a bit overwhelming sometimes, so let me try to guide you through the process -- and give you multiple points of purchase.

I'm not quite sure if you want tickets for just one day or if you want tickets that allow you to visit only one park per day. I'll try to answer both to get you started

All tickets can be purchased in advance online on the Walt Disney World website under Buy Theme Park Tickets. This is the option most people use. On that page, you will see any special offers that might apply to you, such as Florida resident discounts or offers for Disney+ subscribers. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can choose the ticket purchase link that is for all guests.

As you work through the steps, you can choose a one-day ticket for a single park or tickets for up to 10 days. You have the option of buying admission for one park only per day or adding the ability to park hop (move among the four theme parks on a single day).

The price will vary based on the park you choose and the day you want to visit.

If you would rather work with a person than a screen, you can call the Disney Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone line, and a cast member will walk through the steps with you. Or you can purchase tickets in person at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

Finally, you can buy tickets at the entrance to each theme park on the day you want to visit. This can be appealing if you think your plans may shift at the last-minute. One caution, however: Parks can occasionally reach capacity on any given day, especially during peak seasons such as holidays. So you do run a slight risk that no tickets would be available when you reach the entrance.

I know that's a lot of information. I hope it's clear and helps you decide which avenue you want to use to get your tickets for your magical Walt Disney World visit. If you need further assistance or have other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to planDisney.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
