If I purchase a 5 day ticket to the theme parks can I upgrade one or two tickets to have a hopper upgrade on the day I want to use it.

Hello Lynae and thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

If you purchase a 5-day Walt Disney World Theme Park Admission Ticket, you will only be able to add the Park Hopper Option to the entire ticket. The 5-day ticket is considered one ticket and cannot be broken up into individual days after purchase for the purpose of adding the Park Hopper Option to specific days.

It looks like you will actually save money, though, by adding the Park Hopper Option to your 5-day ticket. That cost, as of today, is $409. If you purchase a 2-day ticket with Park Hopper Option, you will pay $257. To make up your 5-days, you would then purchase a 3-day ticket without the Park Hopper Option which would be $290. Those two tickets ($257 plus $290) would cost more than the 5-day ticket with the Park Hopper Option for all five days would cost ($409), which would give you a lot of flexibility in your plans for the entire time you are there. I would definitely recommend doing that.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with your planning. Best wishes for a magical Walt Disney World visit!
