Hi there, Andrea, and welcome to planDisney!
In my opinion, March 30 is the best day to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth...because it's my birthday! I've celebrated multiple birthdays with a
Cheshire Cat tail and a spin on
Mad Tea Party, so I might even see you there.
I just spoke to a helpful Cast Member who shared that
theme park tickets can indeed be purchased same-day at theme park ticket counters, but it is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as individual ticket prices often increase when purchased in person. Additionally, March 30 is not only my birthday and your un-birthday, this year it also falls during Easter weekend, so crowds at
Magic Kingdom Park will likely be a bit higher that day. While I have never experienced this personally, there is always the chance on holiday weekends that Magic Kingdom Park could reach capacity and prevent in-person ticket purchases. If possible, I suggest purchasing your theme park ticket in advance to avoid any potential barriers between you and the magic of Main Street, U.S.A.
Since you're planning on heading to Magic Kingdom Park on Easter weekend regardless, I hope you'll take the chance to explore the rest of Seven Seas Lagoon's surrounding properties. By channeling your inner bunny and hopping aboard the
Resort Monorail at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll be able to explore
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Polynesian Resort, and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can't go wrong with a meal at the Polynesian's
'Ohana, but if you're looking to embrace the Easter season, don't miss the elaborate
culinary Easter egg displays at the Contemporary or Grand Floridian where you'll even find some limited-time offerings of delectable treats!
I hope this was helpful, Andrea, and that you have the chance to celebrate my very favorite day in my very favorite place. If any questions arise as you plan, feel free to stop back by.
I'm always happy to help!
Hakuna Matata,
Lizzie
