Hi there, Tiffany,
I understand your concern about
ticket purchasing. It's something I'm sure you want to get right. In this case, I'm confident that you may proceed with your ticket purchase without concern for possible date changes. The online ticket purchase system makes it seem as though a one-day ticket is fixed for a given date. However, that is merely a tool to help guests purchase the right type of ticket for the day the ticket will be used. One-day tickets come in three types: Value, Regular, and Peak. If your travel dates happen to shift by a few days, you may still use the ticket you purchased as long as it hasn't expired yet and its type is the same or greater than the designation for the day of your visit. If your purchased ticket is a Peak type, you may
use it any day through its expiration date. If your ticket is a Regular or Value type, and you wish to use it on a date that is designated at a higher type, you may visit a Main Entrance Ticket Booth to
upgrade your ticket, including applying the value paid for the ticket toward the cost of the new ticket.
I'm so excited for you to get a chance to spend a day at the Disneyland Resort! You will find a great deal of
magic awaiting you at the Disneyland Resort this Summer. For a limited time, the classic
Soarin' Over California returns for an inspiring tour over the Golden State.
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, debuts soon in the final neighborhood of the newly re-imagined
Pixar Pier. And, of course, guests are now able to visit a galaxy far, far away now that
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is open.
Have a magical time, Tiffany!
