Hi Sabine,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller!
Although single day Theme Park Tickets are still available for purchase, it doesn’t seem possible to purchase them in advance via the
European version of the Walt Disney World Resort website. I’m not sure whether you can access the website’s United States – English version but, if you can, please click on this link to the
Theme Park Tickets purchasing page. If that doesn’t work, you might also be able to make your purchase that way or by downloading the
My Disney Experience app to your smartphone and accessing the in-app ticket purchasing options.
If neither of those options works for you, unfortunately, your only option might be to speak to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (travel agent) or to purchase your tickets when you arrive in the United States.
If you do only intend to visit Walt Disney World Resort on a specific day, I strongly encourage you to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Tool to make sure that the date you’d like to visit is still available. Please note that, the closer you get to your vacation dates, the more availability can become limited for all Theme Parks. In addition, if you think that you might be visiting on a particularly busy day (especially if that day falls on a holiday in the United States or in March/April during Spring Break), then your best bet might be to purchase a 2 Day Theme Park Ticket before leaving home so that you can “lock in” your preferred dates. Who knows… maybe you’ll be able to find enough time during your holidays to squeeze in two days of Disney fun!
If none of my suggestions help resolve your issue, I encourage you to
contact Walt Disney World Resort by phone. They may be able to provide you with additional tips to help resolve your specific issue.
And if you have any other planning questions, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us. We’re always happy to help, when we can!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
