Want to purchase 1 day ticket to Disney world, is that possible

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Patricia!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us this magical question! One of my favourite things about having my Annual Pass is that I can visit however many days I want, so I completely understand the appeal of a quick trip to the parks. Is there anything better than spending a nice, relaxing day at the parks without the tiredness from a long trip?

The good news is that yes, you certainly can purchase a one-day ticket for a quick visit to the parks! Simply visit the Walt Disney World website and click on "Theme Park Tickets" under the "Parks & Tickets" tab. You will then be able to select however many days you would like to visit the parks, and voilà! You've got your one-way ticket to the magic. After you have purchased your ticket, make sure to link it to your account to make theme park reservations, which are currently required in addition to valid theme park admission. By using the "Add More Plans" tab in the "My Plans" section of your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to link all kinds of reservations and even add notes to your itinerary. Then, click on "Theme Park Reservations" under the "Parks & Tickets" tab and select your type of ticket. I always suggest checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before making your reservation to ensure you will not have any not-so-magical surprises. After that, you will be all set for your magical day!

Now, let's talk about all the magical things you can do on your day trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! You will be visiting at an especially magical time with the World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing and EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Festival blooming into its 2022 season. Since you will only be visiting for a day, I would highly recommend buying a ticket with the park hopper option. First, stop by Magic Kingdom to enjoy the newly-returned Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade and the brand new Cinderella Castle show "Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire." Then, spend the rest of your day at EPCOT enjoying the culinary booths around the World Showcase, admiring the topiaries and listening to performances from some of your favourite artists. Close out the night with the new nighttime spectacular "Harmonious," and you've got yourself a perfect Disney day!

I hope this was helpful, Patricia, and that you will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out! You're as welcome as can be.

    Have a magical day,
