    If I purchase a 1 day theme park pass and add the water park and sports option, am I able to go to a theme park, ie Magic Kingdom on one day and then go to a water park on a different day? Or do they have to be on the same day?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking a great question! It sounds like you are planning some exciting days at Walt Disney World!

    If you purchase the Water Park and Sports Option on your Walt Disney World tickets, then you can have a certain number of visits to a Water Park or other Walt Disney World fun. At Walt Disney World, a water park is not considered a theme park but an extra option that can be used on a separate day or the same day as a visit to a theme park. In your case, a 1-day ticket will entitle you to one theme park day and one option, such as a water park. So you can choose to use an option to enjoy a water park for an entire day without using one of your theme park tickets, or you can go to a water park and a theme park on the same day.

    I recommend using your water park option on a separate day from your theme park visit to maximize your time in the Magic Kingdom Park. Remember that you will currently need to make a theme park reservation for your theme park day. You do not need to make a theme park reservation for a water park.
