Hi Maria!
Thank you for your question and welcome to planDisney!
I can certainly understand why you may think a ticket needs to be reassigned in order to be used, but that is not the case. That's because, at the
Disneyland Resort, your ticket is associated with the person in the picture, not the name on the ticket. The names are really just used to help you keep them straight. But, upon arrival, a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using each ticket. The ticket is then associated with the person in the picture and the name on the ticket becomes irrelevant. So in short, leave everything as it is and head straight to the turnstiles with the other person when you arrive!
I’m so glad you are bringing a fellow Southern California resident because the
SoCal Resident Ticket does require proof of residency. So, each of you will be asked to present your valid government-issued identification that reflects eligible residency within ZIP codes 90000-93599. This will be requested as soon as you scan in at the Main Entrance Turnstiles. So, be sure to have it ready!
I hope this is the information you were looking for! And, I sincerely hope you enjoy 3 magical days at the Disneyland Resort!
Tiffanie
