Hey there, Alice. Thanks for stopping by planDisney to ask me a question about your tickets.
Sometimes plans change when it comes to a
Walt Disney World vacation and I think you'll be happy to know that in most cases, you can use your already purchased park ticket at a later date. To change the date of your ticket yourself, log in to your
MyDisneyExperience account either on a computer or using the
MyDisneyExperience mobile app. It's my personal preference to use the MyDisneyExperience app to do these types of things, I think it is very user-friendly. Then, you'll open up the menu by selecting the three blue horizontal lines on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Next, select the "Tickets and Passes" option. Scroll through the tickets linked to your account until you see the one you'd like to modify and select "Change Ticket". Then you'll follow the prompts to change the date of your ticket. Because Walt Disney World tickets are now date-based, there may be an upcharge for the date you'd like to switch the ticket to. If there is, you'll be taken to a check-out page toward the end of the process.
If you don't see the option to change your ticket yourself or you are having some trouble, you can always call the
existing tickets support line at (407) 566-4985. The phone lines open up each morning around 7:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. Lately, it seems like there has been a higher than normal call volume, leading to some longer wait times, so I suggest calling in the morning if you can.
I hope that you won't be needed to change your Walt Disney World ticket, Alice. However, if you do I think this will get you going in the right direction. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day!
