I want to purchase a 3 day pass. The passes are good through September 28, 2024, but it says "After expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price."

    Hey Georgina!

It sounds like you're looking into the Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket – a great choice! Here's the scoop: if this is the Special Offer that you are considering, these tickets are valid through September 28, 2024. Based on the Terms and Conditions you mentioned, it seems that if you don’t use your Theme Park ticket by September 28, 2024, the amount you paid for the ticket can be applied toward purchasing a new ticket of equal or higher value. It's Disney's way of ensuring your magical plans don't go to waste!

It’s important to note that the ticket must be wholly unused to apply its value to a new ticket. So, if you have a 3-Day ticket, none of those days can be used before the expiration date for you to be able to use the ticket price towards a new one.

Now, even if you’re eyeing a different Special Offer, keep in mind that Disney has some pretty specific Terms and Conditions for all their Theme Park Tickets, including those bought at full price. It is my understanding that tickets are non-refundable.

To make sure you have all your pixie dust in a row, I’d highly recommend giving the Walt Disney World Resort Ticket Line a call. They can provide you with all the nitty-gritty details and walk you through the specific terms and conditions of the ticket you’re interested in. It’s always good to double-check with the experts.
