Greetings, Chris! I'm so pleased you've come to planDisney, where we love helping our fellow guests with their most pressing vacation planning questions!
The
Park Hopper Ticket is such a great feature for Guests looking to really maximize their time at the Disneyland Resort! I can see why it might interest you and your family. As you may know, Guests who purchase a Park Hopper ticket will make their
park reservation at the theme park they wish to enter first, then beginning at 11:00 a.m., they are able to cross over to enjoy the other theme park, subject to capacity. This is such a wonderful benefit to optimize a three-day visit like the one you are planning!
Now, Chris, you might have seen that the Park Hopper benefit is an optional purchase, added to the cost of your
theme park tickets. However, this additional purchase is a flat-fee for all days of your visit, whether it is one day or all three. So, if you choose the Park Hopper option, you will have the chance to use it for the entire duration of your trip! We especially love park-hopping during the evening hours because if you plan your time just right, you may be able to catch the nighttime spectaculars in both theme parks. For example, during my recent visit, I was able to see the earlier showing of
World of Color - ONE in Disney California Adventure Park, followed by the later showing of
Fantasmic! over in Disneyland Park on the same night! Of course, this all depends on the entertainment schedules, but sometimes it all works out with pure magic!
I hope this is helpful for now, and if there is anything else we can help to clarify, please don't hesitate to
reach out directly! I'd love to share some more planning recommendations for your upcoming visit to the 'Happiest Place on Earth!'
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Tishra
