If I purchase a 2day pass now but end up needing to Change it to a 2 day park hopper, is that possible?

    Hi Nicol,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! A Park Hopper ticket is a great way to add more flexibility to your vacation. The ability to go back and forth between parks doubles your magic for the day! Since the two parks are located right across from each other, you’ll save a lot of time hopping from one to the other.

If you're looking to upgrade your ticket to a Park Hopper, just head to the ticket booths in the Esplanade, located between the two parks. A Cast Member there will be happy to assist you. You’ll simply need to pay the difference in cost for the upgrade.

Keep in mind that when you purchase a Park Hopper, your park reservation will be for the park you start your day at. After 11:00 AM, you’re free to hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as much as you'd like!

While you're there, be sure to visit Disney California Adventure Park to celebrate Plaza de la Familia (running through November 2). This event honors the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos. I especially love The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia; they retell the story of Coco in such a creative and heartfelt way. After the show, you can even meet Miguel!

There are also plenty of themed snacks to enjoy that highlight the vibrant culture featured in the movie. Don’t miss the Foodie Guide released by the Disney Parks Blog to help you find all the delicious treats. Even Mama Coco would be proud!

I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Nicol! If you have any more questions or need help with any other part of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’d love to share more tips and ideas to add a little pixie dust to your vacation.

    Happy park hopping!
