Hello there, Lenita!
Welcome to planDisney and “Yay! You’re going to Walt Disney World”. I’m cheering that out loud as I’m writing this. It’s going to be the best time ever, especially since you are planning on visiting for a pretty good amount of time. I recommend scheduling some break days in between your
theme park days. That will give you time to lounge by the pool, explore
Disney Springs, and take some time to rest. My family loves those relaxing times at our resort. It gives us the time to sleep in, lounge, and enjoy our
resort amenities.
The Walt Disney World official website is where you’ll want to purchase your
theme park tickets from. There is a
10-day ticket that is valid for 14 days beginning on the selected start date. I believe that might be the one you are referring to. This ticket means you have 10 days in the theme parks, and those 10 visits have to happen within that 14-day timeframe. If you’re a frequent visitor, then I recommend considering purchasing
an Annual Pass. That way, you can
come and go as you please, and the validity of the ticket is for an entire year, not just 14 days. It just depends on how many days you want to be inside the theme park and how long you are visiting for.
Another option is breaking those 14 days up into two different ticket purchases. I’m a numbers girl, so I recommend a notebook and paper to see which way would be the better deal. I did notice, though, the more days you decide to visit, the less the cost per day is. Plus, that means more days in the parks! And in my house, we like to say, any day at Disney is better than a day anywhere else. So, more is always better in terms of Disney days.
Lenita, I hope this helps answer your question so that you can purchase your theme park tickets and be one step closer to the magic of Walt Disney World. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with as you plan out your vacation.
See ya real soon,
Shantel
