Hello, Callie! Thank you for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question!
I am happy you are taking advantage of one of the current
special ticket offers. I just purchased the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket for an upcoming trip myself! You will be happy to know that you can re-enter the same park after a mid-day nap break. This is one of my favorite tips for families
traveling with little ones. I suggest waking up early and taking advantage of
Early Entry if you are a
Disney Resorts Collection Guest to enjoy as many rides and attractions as possible before the crowds start to pick up. Then, I suggest heading back to your resort for a nap around lunch. My wife and I like to take turns on who stays in the room to nap with the kids and enjoys some alone time by the pool with a refreshing Piña Colada! Then, around late afternoon or dinner time, we head back to the parks for another couple of hours with our kids, all refreshed and ready to go. It makes the experience so much more enjoyable, in my opinion. I have also found that the evening has shorter lines for the toddler-aged attractions because the non-nappers are exhausted and heading home as we walk in!
Callie, did you know that each Theme Park has a
Baby Care Center where you can feed, change, and nurse little ones? I recently researched these centers at Disney World and quickly discovered how convenient they are for families' children. Not only can you take care of your newborn or infant, but there are spaces for older siblings to sit and enjoy a Disney movie while waiting. Little shops also offer baby food, diapers, wipes, and over-the-counter medications. Disney indeed thinks of everything and everyone, don’t they?
If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit, please
submit me another question. As a father of three young boys, I have plenty more tips and suggestions on how to enjoy your Walt Disney World vacation with kids in tow!
See you real soon,
Brent
