If you purchase a 5 day park pass with the water/sports option, and its valid for use on non-consecutive days, can you go to the water park on one of the non-consecutive days you are not visiting a theme park? or is the use at the water park, count as 1day

Hi Amanda! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!

Is there anything more exciting than planning for your upcoming Walt Disney World visit! Deciding on what ticket package to purchase is definitely one of the most important aspects of this process. I see you are considering adding the Water Park and Sports Option to your trip, so let's discuss how this add-on specifically works.

When purchasing a 5-day park ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option, you'll be given 5 days to visit the theme parks and an additional 5 visits to a water park or other select experiences. A visit to the water park will not count against the 5 days allotted for the theme park visits. You'll have 8 consecutive days to use everything within, which includes all of your park days and additional visits. With this said, you can spread out your park days over the 8 days allotted and then mix in some other fun experiences throughout the week. It might be fun to combine a visit to the water park and miniature golf course on an off day or possibly spread them out during the week. The option will be up to you!

Currently, only Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is open and operating at this time. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is closed for refurbishment. They may both be open at the time of your visit, but I would follow along with the Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements regarding this. If you're traveling with little ones, Blizzard Beach recently added a new frozen-themed section, so make sure to check this out during your visit!

Amanda, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay! Stop back anytime to planDisney with additional planning questions!

    See ya real soon!
