if I purchase a 1day park hopper, is there a possibility due to capacity that I won't be able to hop to a different park?

    Hey Kimnang!

    Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you are ready to ring in the holiday season at the Happiest Place on Earth. I see that you will be there opening weekend for Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This Magical celebration brings everything about Christmas to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You can even catch Santa Claus himself at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail inside Disney California Adventure Park.

I see that you are worried about not being able to hop to one of the theme parks because of capacity issues. There is always a risk that a theme park will be at capacity but the reservation system that is now in place is supposed to help so that this does not happen. In the past this has happened on days like Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Even then it has only been for a few hours before the park becomes available to park hop again as guests move to another park. So while it's always a possibility it is unlikely that it will happen during your trip.

Well Kimnang,  I hope you have the merriest visit next week.
