If I purchase a 2 day one park per day ticket, do I need to know what date(s) I want to go or can I buy it and then pick my dates within a window?

    Hiya Len,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.

I’m excited that you're planning to visit the Disneyland Resort! The Disneyland Resort is currently hosting Pixar Fest, where Guests can celebrate the power of friendship through entertainment, specialty eats, and more! If you wish to attend this celebration, be sure to visit the parks by August 4, 2024, as this is the last day of this celebration!

Unused multi-day tickets are valid until January 12, 2026, or within 13 days of scanning the first ticket (whichever comes first). This means that while your theme park tickets will expire, you do not have an assigned date or dates to visit when you purchase them! This gives Guests some flexibility when planning a visit in advance, so you have plenty of time to figure out what time of year you wish to visit The Happiest Place on Earth! However, theme park reservations require specific dates for when you want to visit the parks.

Theme park reservations are still required at the Disneyland Resort to ensure the parks do not exceed capacity. Guests require both a theme park ticket and a valid park reservation for admission. Guests can review the Theme Park Reservation Calendar for park availability and must select the date they wish to visit. But if you change your mind and wish to change your visit date, Hakuna Matata (it means no worries)! As long as there is park reservation availability for your new preferred visit date, Guests can modify park reservations until 11:59 PM PST (hour subject to change) the night before the original visit date!

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
