Hey there, Emily!
Thanks so much for coming to see us at planDisney! It's exciting to hear you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Your plan to purchase a Walt Disney World Resort 2-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option and visit the theme parks over three days should work fine, as
a 2-day ticket expires four days after your selected start date. It sounds like you're encountering an issue
purchasing your theme park tickets online though, and I'm sorry to hear you seeing this issue. My suggestion is to call and purchase your tickets by phone. You can call Walt Disney World Ticketing and Resorts at (407)-566-4985. You can also
call the phone number for new tickets at (407) 939-7679. Before purchasing your tickets, you can check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see that there are reservations available for the days you want to visit the theme parks.
I was curious, and so I took a look at buying a 2-Day Ticket with Park Hopper Option and selecting my first date from the calendar where the next date shows that tickets are unavailable. I saw the "Please Select a New Start Date" message. Perhaps that's the same message you're seeing.
I'm hopeful that the ticketing team can get you all set up with your theme park tickets so that you can link them to your
My Disney Experience account and then make your theme park reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system.
