Hiya, Friend. Welcome to planDisney!
Whenever I am near Disney World, I try my best Tarzan impression and swing into the parks. Whether for one day or multiple days (hopefully), Disney has multiple Theme Park Ticket options to accommodate all visits.
Head to the
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets site if you can. Here, you will see some current specials (4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, and the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket) and the ability to purchase anywhere from 1 to 10-day standard date-based tickets (this will be what you’re looking for). Click on the standard date-based ticket “Continue” button. On the following page, select one day and the day you’d like to visit. Your next decision is to pick whether you want to visit 1 Park Per Day (and which park), the Park Hopper Option (allowing you to visit multiple parks in one day), or the Park Hopper Plus Option (which enables you to visit multiple parks in one day AND a water park). If I had to choose one park, I would go with the original Magic Kingdom, but I always like the option to jump to other parks based on crowds and rides, so I typically go with the Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper Plus Option may be too much for a one-day visit but to each their own!
If you can’t access the Theme Park Tickets site, you can call the
New Tickets number, +1 (407) 934-7639, or you can wait until you arrive and purchase your ticket at the
Guest Relations window just outside the entrance to both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.
I hope this helps, friend. If you have any additional questions about planning your one-day visit,
let me know!
