How do I just purchase 1 day for Disneyland and 1 day for California Adventure?

Hello there, Veronica. Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you are wanting to visit Disneyland Resort quite soon!

The easiest way to purchase any tickets is directly from the Disneyland Resort website. The type of ticket that will be best for you will be dependent on if you are planning on using these two days consecutively within a few days of each other or if you want to visit the parks with more than two weeks between your visits. If you will be visiting back-to-back days, a 2-day ticket will be a better deal most likely. If you are visiting two different trips, you will probably want to purchase two 1-day tickets. A standard ticket is a one-park-per-day ticket, or you can add on the park hopper option. Then on the next page, you will select the dates you are planning to visit and what park you want to visit on each day.

Once you purchase your ticket and get your confirmation, a theme park reservation will be made for those dates and parks for your ticket. This is important because currently all tickets also need reservations to be able to enter the park. If you decide to change your mind about what dates you will be visiting, you can cancel your theme park ticket reservation and make new ones for your new dates. You are able to do this on the Disneyland website or through the Disneyland app.

Be sure to check out Disneyland's newest attraction, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway over in Toontown. The queue is not to be missed! It is full of all kinds of fun things to look at.

Veronica, thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to visit us again with any of your planning questions!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
