Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris

If I purchase a 1 day disability price ticket in advanced, can I upgrade that ticket on the day to an annual pass at the 25% off disability rate using the money I spent on the 1 day ticket towards the cost of the annual pass?

Hi there, Rebecca, and a warm welcome to planDisney. I’m delighted to help you plan your trip to the happiest place in Europe. It won’t be long until you’re taking a stroll along Main Street, and gazing up at Sleeping Beauty Castle… let the magic begin!

You can experience the magic again and again as a Disneyland Pass holder, so I can see why you’re keen to explore your options, Rebecca!

Once you arrive at Disneyland Paris, you can visit the Disneyland Pass ticket office at the entrance to Disneyland Park, and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, your Disneyland Pass will be issued to you, and a whole year of magic awaits!

I have spoken with a friendly Cast Member at Disneyland Paris, who confirmed that only 1-day park tickets, purchased at the full rate, can be upgraded to a Disneyland Pass. This can be done on the day of your visit, just head to the ticket office on the day, presenting valid proof of disability, and you will receive your Disneyland Pass! Check out which documents are required as proof of disability, so you can prepare for your magical adventure.

If you decide to purchase your Disneyland Pass on the day, unfortunately, it is not guaranteed that you will be able to access the park if it is at capacity. There is a whole magical range of Disneyland Passes to choose from, which you can find out about here, and some have more restrictions than others regarding date availability. You can speak with a Disney Expert, who will be happy to talk through your options with you. Don’t lose hope, Rebecca, I’m wishing upon a star that there will be availability on the date you’ve been dreaming of!

There is so much on the horizon at Disneyland Paris this year, and you can read all about it over on the Disney Parks Blog! As a big fan of nighttime spectaculars, I'm particularly excited for Disney Cascade of Lights, to light up the skies in Disney Adventure World from March 2026.

Whichever way you decide to purchase your Disney Park Tickets, Rebecca, I wish you the most wonderful vacation and memories that last a lifetime.

If you have any more questions, please stop by and see me anytime at planDisney.

    Magic and Wishes,

    Abi
