Hey Kirsty,
Welcome back to planDisney! I hope we are helping you plan the perfect trip for your visit to
Walt Disney World this summer. I love helping Guests make the most of their Disney Destination holidays, and it is extra special when I get to help a fellow Brit!
The UK
Magic Ticket offers brilliant value, especially for us Brits who tend to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth for longer holidays. Good news, Kirsty, you will not need to make theme park reservations for each day of your trip. This is because the UK 14-day (and 7-day) Magic Ticket is date-based, meaning that you selected a start date when you purchased your ticket. You can just head over to the theme park of your choice and scan your
MagicBand, Key to the World card, or
Disney MagicMobile.
Another great feature of the 14-day ticket is that it does not need to be used on consecutive days. You have an 18-day window to use your 14 park days, so if your Orlando trip is a bit longer than a fortnight, you can enjoy some rest days without missing out on making the most of your ticket.
I also want to let you know that your ticket includes access to the
Disney Water Parks. Both water parks are fantastic, but I have to say Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is one of my favourite places on Earth. It is both wildly fun and super relaxing! Additionally, since I noticed from a previous question that you are not staying at a Disney Hotel, I want to let you know that parking at the Disney Water Parks is completely free for all Guests.
Kirsty, I hope you have the absolute best holiday at Walt Disney World and love it just as much as my family does, if you have any more questions please
reach out to me, I would love to help!
Have a magical day,
Matt
