Hiya, Teresa, and welcome to planDisney! From one Georgian to another, I couldn't be happier that you're here today with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's always so wonderful to be able to count down to your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Teresa, I'd love to put your mind at ease today and let you know that you should be able to change your
Disney Theme Park ticket date if you have a change in plans. When you are ready to purchase a ticket, head to the Walt Disney World Resort website and choose the type of ticket you'd like. At this time, you won't need to select a ticket specifically for
Magic Kingdom Park. Your ticket will allow you to enter any of the four parks unless they are closed or at capacity for the day.
If you find that you're no longer able to visit the parks on the date of your ticket, log in to
My Disney Experience and head to "My Tickets and Passes." Click "Change Ticket" and select a new date for your ticket. This needs to be done before midnight on the day your ticket is valid. If you choose a new date that has higher ticket prices, you'll need to pay the difference. Happily, this is a fairly easy process, and there are helpful
Cast Members available to chat with you if you encounter any issues.
Teresa, I hope this is helpful to you as you make your plans for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you count down to your arrival!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
