How do I purchase a commerative brick for my family?

    Greetings Eleanore!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love to answer questions from fellow Californians!
People often ask about the octagon-shaped pavers that line the walkway between the Disneyland Park and the Disney California Adventure Park. These were part of an awesome program called "The Walk of Magical Memories", which allowed guests to pay for a 10-year brick "sponsorship".
Many families participated because they wanted to be a part of Disneyland history.
Unfortunately, the program ended back in February of 2011 and the Disneyland Resort hasn't announced any plans to reinstate it.
No announcements have been made to remove or replace the pavers either so we may continue to enjoy reading through family names and dates for quite a while!
One thing I would recommend is that you check out the Disney Parks Blog and subscribe to get updates sent directly to your inbox on announcements, new projects and events being planned or scheduled at the Disneyland Resort.
Sending you faith, trust & pixie dust,

    -Anabel M.
