Hiya, Nancy, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you're here today with this great question. My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you! It sounds like you're planning a vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort in just a few short days and need to purchase Disney Theme Park Tickets for a child. Let's get started!
Nancy, I'm happy to tell you that purchasing a Disney Theme Park Ticket is even easier than saying "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" Head to the Walt Disney World Resort
website and select the type of ticket you'd like to purchase - don't worry, you'll select the age of the Guest later. Next, select the number of days for your ticket, along with the start date and what options you need for your ticket. Here's where you'll select the age of the Guest needing the ticket, and you'll see your grand total at the bottom of the screen! At Walt Disney World Resort, children under the age of three do not need a ticket, and children ages three to nine are considered "children." Guests ages 10 and up are considered "adults."
I hope this is helpful and allows you to find the information you need. If you have any questions about bringing a little one to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I definitely suggest taking a look at the helpful resources on the
planDisney website - everything from guides to podcasts to
videos, many of which are geared toward traveling with little ones.
If you have any additional questions about your upcoming vacation, please stop back by planDisney! I am happy to help!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
