    If I purchase the chEAR Gold package for the Half Marathon, is it realistic of me to think I can be at the in-park viewing area in MK to watch my daughter go by and also make it to the finish line at Epcot in time to see her cross?

    It is absolutely realistic to see your princess run down Main Street USA and then see her again at the finish line! Here is the best way to make that happen:

    Travel with your daughter to the Start Zone Area at Epcot on race morning. From there, you will take the Monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center and then the Express Monorail to Magic Kingdom. Once you see her run down Main Street USA, head back to Epcot and enter the reserved grandstand seating area at the finish line for ChEAR Squad Members. You should be able to make it back in plenty of time with a good plan in place. 

    Another tip is to sign up for Runner Tracking. This complementary service will send text messages to your cell phone as she crosses each timing mat at the designated splits; miles 3.1, 6.2, 9.3 and finish line. With Magic Kingdom being right after the 5 mile marker, you'll be able to estimate when she will be coming through when you receive her 3.1 mile (5K) time. And as you travel back to Epcot, you'll have any idea of where she is on the course. In addition, Runner Tracking will give you her estimated finish time. This tool is one of my favorite tips! I even use it to track myself while I'm running. Runner Tracking will be available on the runDisney website about a week before the race. 

    Purchasing a ChEAR Squad package is a great idea! It will make your spectator experience a little more magical! ChEARing on your favorite runner is hard work.
