Is there a way to purchase the Canadian Resident tickets, a room only reservation and still get a dining plan? I try doing it online but am not able.

    Hi Carrie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian. The Special Offer for Canadian Residents on Theme Park Tickets really is a great deal, one that really helps offset a somewhat low exchange rate for those of us who are paying for our vacations in Canadian dollars!

I’m happy to say that it is possible to add a Disney Dining Plan to a Disney Resort Hotel Package that doesn’t include Theme Park Tickets, but you can book this combination online. You’ll have to either contact Walt Disney World Resort by phone in order to make your reservation OR you’ll need to go through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, preferably one based in Canada as they’ll be more familiar with the ins and outs of these specially priced tickets.

Because there are currently some really great Special Offers available right now, including discounts on Disney Resort Hotel stays, I’d highly recommend doing a bit of an inventory of what you’d typically spend on food to see whether a combination of ticket and hotel discount would actually be better economically for your family, rather than adding a Disney Dining Plan to a package. You might find that the cost savings is worth having to pay “out of pocket” for your meals during your vacation.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
