Hi Lauren!
Staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel brings a plethora of perks and conveniences to your vacation. From seamless transportation options to delightful activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Firstly, let's talk about transportation. As a guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you'll have access to complimentary transportation throughout the resort, including buses, monorails, and boats. This means you can easily hop from park to park without worrying about parking or driving.
One of my family's favorite things to experience while staying at a Disney Resort hotel is the opportunity to experience "Movies Under the Stars." We love to grab a snack and our Resort Refillable mugs and settle in to enjoy classic Disney films in an outdoor setting. It's a magical way to wind down after a day of adventure in the parks.
Now, regarding your question about adding the dining package to your reservation. To add either of the
Disney Dining Plans to your booking, the booking would need to be a
vacation package. While this provides great value and convenience, it's important to note that since you are planning to apply a
Special Offer to your vacation your reservation will not qualify for adding the dining plan.
Even without the dining plan, you can still enjoy delicious meals and snacks throughout your stay. Plus, with the convenience of
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering and
Dining Reservations, you'll have plenty of opportunities to savor the flavors of Disney during your visit.
In my opinion, the dining plan can be a fantastic option for certain travelers. If you like to plan your vacation with a budget in mind, the dining plan provides peace of mind by ensuring that most of your dining expenses are paid for in advance. This way, you can fully enjoy your time in the parks without worrying about the cost of meals adding up. So if your goal is to have most of your vacation paid in advance, it may benefit you to turn your reservation into a vacation package.
However, it's worth mentioning that in my experience, if you choose not to add the dining plan to your reservation or aren’t eligible to add it because you haven’t booked a vacation package, you may not notice a significant cost difference or savings. Disney offers a wide range of dining options to suit every budget, and with a little planning, you can enjoy delicious meals without breaking the bank.
I hope that you and your family have the most magical time!
