If we purchase beer at the shops are we able to have them out by the pool?

    Hi Kellie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

When you visit Walt Disney World Resort, it's super convenient to be able to purchase soda, beer, wine and other food and drink items at the hotel shops. The shops offer a wide variety of food and beverages, with something to please every member of your traveling party. Most resort rooms feature a mini fridge, which we take advantage of to keep a supply of snacks and drinks on hand for our family!

While you're welcome to enjoy these items in your room and around the resort, you'll find signs prohibiting food and beverage items in the pool and around the pool deck. That being said, you'll usually find a pool bar in close proximity to the large pools on property if you want to pop in for a beer or a cocktail on your pool day!

One of the coolest pool bars on property is Leaping Horse Libations at Disney's Boardwalk Inn. Located right next to Luna Park Pool (famously known as "the pool with the clown slide"!), it looks just like an old-time carousel. It's so cute, and they serve snacks, sandwiches, and delicious poolside drinks!

I hope this helps with your planning. Please come back and visit if you have further questions before your Walt Disney World vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
