Welcome to
Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen!
Great question!
I know that guests can get confused about what their
Walt Disney World tickets will enable them to do during their stay, so your question is understandable. Glad you asked!
Great news. When you enter a
Walt Disney World park using a ticket that does NOT include the Park Hopper option, you may still exit and re-enter that same park throughout the day. For example, if you enter
Magic Kingdom Park one day, the ticket that you used to enter will be valid for Magic Kingdom entry--and re-entry--throughout that same day. Decide to head to
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort for a delicious meal with a spectacular view before heading back to Magic Kingdom for the night? No problem. Want to leave
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and head back to your resort for a nap or a swim prior to returning for nighttime fun? Not a problem. In each case, you are returning to the same park, on the same day; this is not considered "park hopping", and you'll be using only one day's worth of your tickets when you do so.
Plan your days carefully, Karen, and you may find that you don't miss a thing without hopping!
Have a magical stay. Be sure to send us more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
