Hi Londa!
Welcome to planDisney!
I was lucky enough to experience the
Backstage Magic Tour a couple of years ago and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. It was so wonderful to see everything that goes on, out of sight, to create some of the magic that all Guests usually see. It is not easy to choose a favourite part of that tour, but I loved Creative Costuming where the costumes are designed and created to bring our much-loved characters to life. And have you seen or heard of the "utilidor" tunnels that run underneath Magic Kingdom Park? It was an absolute dream of mine to walk through those!
We are still experiencing an
ever-changing situation at Walt Disney World Resort and some attractions, parades and tours are temporarily closed. Unfortunately, the Backstage Magic Tour is one of those temporary closures. Ordinarily, this tour becomes available around 180 days in advance and tickets may be purchased by calling (407) WDW-TOUR or (407) 939-8687. You would need to purchase a ticket for a specified date as this tour is open to a limited number of guests each time, including lunch.
The latest schedule of the tour included experiences at
EPCOT and
Magic Kingdom Park, but you do not require additional park admission tickets unless you wish to stay at a theme park after the tour has ended.
Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
