Welcome to planDisney, Jason!
When my cast of characters visits Walt Disney World Resort, we always have an autograph book in tow. My son's autograph book had some unfinished business with Mickey Mouse, which we took care of this summer during breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. Several
character dining experiences are
returning in September and October;
advance reservations for dining are strongly recommended and can be made
online 60 days in advance. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can make reservations for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before their check-in date.
I understand you'd like to have an autograph book in hand before your trip, Jason. A quick search just now shows that all autograph books, including my
go-to recommendation, are currently sold out on shopDisney. Inventory is constantly changing, though, so I encourage you to just keep checking. I've also had luck purchasing autograph books online from third party vendors; I've even been able to take advantage of two-day free shipping. Autograph books are also available at retail stores throughout the theme parks and resorts in case you need to purchase one after you arrive. When considering pen options, opt for something with a wide grip that will be easy for the characters to handle.
In addition to character dining experiences, beloved Disney characters are signing autographs at meet and greets throughout the theme parks. Find out the location of specific characters in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (Location icon on the bottom menu of the app's homepage --> Select category "Characters" --> Filter by park).
Genie+ Lighting Lane reservations can even be made for certain character greetings such as
Meet Mickey and Minnie at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom park.
I hope your autograph book gets filled with signatures and memories that make you smile, Jason. You're part of the planDisney family now,
what else can we do to help?
Choose magic,
Jennifer
