Hi Lyn! Things get a little more complicated when you are purchasing something like the annual pass from out of the country. Please click HERE to review the link about the annual pass and be sure to read about all of the benefits overview shown on the left side.

From what I understand you are not able to use the benefits of the Annual Pass unless you have a valid one. In other words until you are at Walt Disney World to validate it you will not be able to participate in any of the benefits. The Annual Pass is good for one year from validation. It might be something you could consider going ahead and validating your first one a few months from your visit so you can use the benefits to plan your trip. They will be able to mail that validated pass to you. We have done this for our own family in the past.
