If I purchase Annual Passes with Maxpass on a blackout day, will I still be able to use MaxPass on that Day? If not can you purchase a 1 day Maxpass just for that day?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Nick!

I’m happy to welcome you to the Disneyland Resort Passholder family! My family upgraded Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets to Disney Deluxe Passports earlier this year on a Blockout Date. The Main Entrance ticket booth Cast Member indicated that the Disney MaxPass add-on we purchased with our Annual Passports may not work that day. However, we were very pleased to find that we were actually able to use MaxPass with our Passports to get a Disney FASTPASS and Disney PhotoPass pictures. Make sure to have your Annual Passports scanned at the turnstile. They will be denied entry due to the blockout. But, after showing your blockout override certificate from the ticket booth, you should be allowed admission. Since the Passports will have been scanned, you should be able to make full use of your MaxPass privileges!

You will love the benefits of being a Passholder. I especially appreciate the discounts on dining, merchandise, and tours. You are in for a year of fantasy and adventure. Be sure to check off your must-do activities this Summer. Hurry to catch the "Mickey and Friends Band-Tastic Cavalcade" before its last day, August 1st.

    Have a magical year, Nick!
