We are going to purchase annual passes for our family of four. Our youngest is 2 but will turn 3 within the year. How does that work if we only purchase 3 annual passes since hers would be free at this point?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Elizabeth!

It’s always a pleasure to chat with a fellow sunshine state neighbor and Disney enthusiast! I’m thrilled to learn you are considering joining the magical Annual Passholder family! There are so great benefits to having an Annual Pass; from the exclusive special offers and discounts to the dedicated entrances for AP’s, the value is great! But my absolute favorite benefit of having an Annual Pass is getting to visit and enjoy the magic often!

Elizabeth, like you, when my family became AP’s, our youngest wasn’t three yet. So, we basically waited until she turned three to purchase her Annual Pass. The only oddity of this is that you won’t renew at the same time. Other than that, it’s smooth sailing to purchase that additional AP when she is she’s old enough. For my little princess is was like a rite of passage. She was SO PROUD when she was finally able to scan her MagicBand and see that Mikey turn green. Her smile was so big! It was a Disney moment we all remember!

One last Pro-tip! Be sure to bookmark the benefits and discounts page to your smart device so you can take advantage of all the special offers available to AP’s during your visits. You won’t want to miss all the savings!

Have a magical day and see ya real soon!
