I would like to purchase annual passes for my children as a surprise with presenting them with the MagicBand passes, but I read it needs to be activated at a theme park first which I am not able to. How can I order passes online and get my bands mailed?

    Hello Rosa!

Let me just say you win the prize for best mom ever!! Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder has given me the opportunity to visit my happy place many times and experience the magic on a regular basis. What a fabulous gift.

It’s easy to give Walt Disney World annual passes as a gift. Select the annual passes that you wish to give and proceed to checkout.

In the “Guest Information” section on the Checkout page, select the name of the gift recipient in the “Guest Name” dropdown menu. Don’t see the name of the recipient? Select “Add a New Guest” at the bottom of the dropdown menu.

For annual passes purchased as gifts:

The Guest recipient can pick up the order 24 hours after purchase at the park Main Entrance ticket window.
Order confirmation number must be provided.
The Guest recipient’s address you provided must match the address on the photo ID.

Unfortunately, in order to receive MagicBands, the annual passes need to be activated first for the MagicBand order to generate in their My Disney Experience account. My husband once gifted me an Annual Pass for Christmas and purchased a pair of Minnie Mouse Ears from the Shop Disney Parks app and wrapped it with a sweet note.

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rosa, and have a magical day!
