If I purchase an annual pass for someone else, will I be able to track or control their Disney related activities such as park entry, fast pass, etc.

    Hello Arbi!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How kind that you wish to buy an Walt Disney World Annual Pass for someone else. I am an Annual Passholder this year and it has allowed me to have two full visits to the Walt Disney World Resort this year. Not only do we enjoy more days in the parks, but we take full advantage of the merchandise and dining discounts.

Arbi, the short answer to your question is, maybe. Depending on how you purchase the Annual Pass and how you have set up My Disney Experience will determine what you can and cannot see or control. My husband and I purchase Walt Disney World Annual Passes for our children. They do not have their own My Disney Experience Accounts. I purchase their Annual Pass and then assign it to them in my My Disney Experience Account. I can then control their FastPass+ selections and add them easily to my dining reservations.

If you wanted to purchase an Annual Pass for another adult, you have a few options. I recommend all adults have their own My Disney Experience Accounts, and then if they wish to share plans, they can link through the Family & Friends option. If your friend has their own account, and you were linked as Family & Friends, you could purchase a new Annual Pass through your account, and then assign that Annual Pass to them. As long as you remain linked, you can see their plans and even make FastPass+ selections for them. If you won’t be traveling together, you can delete that link later and you will no longer see or be able to alter that person’s plans.

If you aren't linked, or don't wish to be, another option would be to gift them a Disney Gift Card in the correct amount to purchase an Annual Pass. This way they could make their purchase through their own My Disney Experience Account. Again, you can link via Family & Friends if you’d like to share plans with one another, but you don’t have to.

If you will be purchasing this person a Florida Resident Annual Pass, you will need to provide proof of residency for all adults over the age of 18. The good news is that you can now do this online and skip the stop at Guest Relations at the parks!

I hope this information is helpful. Wishing you many magical days in the parks!
