    Susan from CT Asked

Hello, if I purchase an annual pass in September 2021 and wait until March 2022 to activate it, when does my annual pass expire? September 2022 or March 2023? Thank You

Hello, Susan! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I am excited to see that you might be interested in becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, Susan. I've been one for years now and I can say that it is well worth the initial investment. I think you will be happy to know that your year usage of the Walt Disney World Annual Pass starts the day you first use it at a Walt Disney World Theme Park and not the day that you buy it. So if you bought it when it goes on sale on September 8th but the first time you visited the Walt Disney World Theme Parks was in March 2022, your expiration date would then be in March 2023.

The announcement about the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes resuming came only a few days ago, Susan and I know it made a lot of people really happy. With the sales resuming came a new structure of the annual passes. As an out-of-state Guest, Susan, you'll be able to purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass. This annual pass will give you access to all 4 of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks with no blackout dates. You'll be able to hold up to 5 park pass reservations without having a resort stay booked, discounts on food and merchandise and you'll receive complimentary theme park parking. This is the Walt Disney World Annual Pass that I have and I love it.

Susan, I hope you'll be joining the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family really soon. You'll love making memories for the entire year that will last a lifetime! If you have any other questions about the annual pass program, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
