Hi Karen, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
As a current
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, I would be pleased to help you out with your question.
Karen, once you purchase your Annual Pass, you should ensure that it is linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Then you will be able to see the date your Annual Pass will expire if it is not activated. Currently the date of expiration for Annual Passes is December 31, 2030. Hopefully that should give you plenty of time to activate your Pass and enjoy a yEAR of magic in the Parks!
Once you activate your Annual Pass upon its first use, your My Disney Experience account will automatically update with the expiry date for your Annual Pass. That will make it easy for you to keep track of how much time is remaining.
Don't forget that as an Annual Passholder, you will be eligible for many
Annual Pass benefits and discounts, including discounts on dining, merchandise, Walt Disney Resort hotel rooms (when available), tours and recreation, and my personal favorite perk, unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads! From now until December 23, 2017, there are even enhanced special Passholder discounts and benefits offered in celebration of the 45th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. With up to 20% off select dining and merchandise, it is a fabulous time to be an Annual Passholder.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Karen. Should you have any other questions, please let us know...we are always here to help!
Have a Magical Day!
Trish
