When I purchase an Annual Pass, does the 12 months start on the day I purchase it or the first time I use it?

    Hey Kendall!

I am thrilled to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes.

Your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass year will begin the moment you activate it at at any Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket window or Disney Springs Guest Relations location. Many Guests choose to buy their Annual Pass in advance of their vacation and then activate it at a later time.

Please keep in mind that renewals work differently. If you decide to renew your Annual Pass, your year will begin the day you process your renewal.

Kendall, did you know that if you choose to be a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder you will be able to enjoy exclusive discounts, special events and magical benefits? Please visit the “Benefits of being a Passholder” page for more information!

I wish you a magical year as a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder. If you need any further clarification or have any other questions, please visit the Moms Panel again.
