Hi, Vinh! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question!
I'm delighted to hear that you are considering purchasing a new
Magic Key pass! There is no better way to enjoy the magic of the Disneyland Resort all year long! Unfortunately, the cost of used tickets from past visits are not eligible to be put toward a Magic Key. Only unused or partially unused, unexpired tickets can be upgraded to a Magic Key.
As a California resident, you have lots of options when it comes to your Magic Key purchase. First, you can take advantage of a payment plan to purchase your pass. After a $179 down payment, you will make monthly payments for 12 months. Next, if you happen to live in southern California, you also have the option to purchase an Imagine Key. This is the least expensive key that is only available to residents in certain California ZIP codes. After the down payment, you would only pay $19 per month for the Imagine Key.
Keep in mind that
theme park reservations are still required for Magic Key holders. You can hold between two and six theme park reservations at a time depending on your Magic Key type and you can make reservations up to 90 days in advance. Additionally, you will use a separate calendar to view availability than those with day tickets.
I hope this helps! Have a great time enjoying the Happiest Place on Earth all year long with your Magic Key!
